Im guessing Lance will be ok and you can bet a fresh pair of shoes and cleats were ready to go.
Makes you wonder if they have a pair already broke in or if they anticipate needing to switch out foot...

There was a time when I knew every nut and bolt on my bike. As I got older and busier I spent less time concerned about every detail of my ride and more interested in finding time to ride. In May 2010 FiveTen will be offering freeriders a new clipless pedal shoe called the Minnaar. While they may be white these Minnaar shoes are telling me to steal them. Despite the Minnaar name on the Velcro strap in these prototypes the final versions will remain sleek and nameless.
